Persimmon Jiro - non astringent

Plants are dormant late autumn and winter- no leaves until spring.

Jiro are a dwarf variety of persimmon Growing 2-5m in height. Jiro are cold hardy and will handle frosts well. Persimmons are deciduous putting on an amazing Autumn colour of vibrant reds ad orange before loosing its leaves in winter to show its vibrant fruits. Jiro can be eaten crisp or soft with great flavour and deep orange to red flesh!
