The Pakistan Black is a vigorous tree, producing thick, black mulberries that taste similar to blackberries. They are excellent eaten right out of hand, but they can also be used to make preserves, jellies, and jams. This Pakistan Black is a collectors variety and produces fruit that are 10-15 cms long, a great conversation piece.
This plant goes dormant for winter (no leaves).
