Alupag

The Alupag is a fruit of the Dimocarpus family tree found in the Phillipines and Malaysia.

Compared to a longan, it has bumpier skin and is lime green to yellow in colour depending on ripeness .

The flesh of the Alupag is very tasty, juicier than the longan, with a fairly large seed.

The fruit is appreciated in its native range, the tree's wood is used to make combs.
